About Us

billfamily Hi, our names are Bill and Lesa Wood. We live on a rach in northeast Kansas, 2 miles from the Nebraska border. Bill is retired from 25 years in the electronic industry and Lesa was a state licenced day care provider for 20 years. We have four children that are all on there own, four grandchildren with many more to come (we hope.) Four years ago we built our dream home on a ranch owned by Lesa's father. Our passion for dogs has brought us to where we are today.

We started with three dogs in the house and that was not enough so we aquired more. We now have a male German Shepard that weighs in about 100 pounds plus, two Pugs and three French Bulldogs, and one male Westie. Our new house has truely gone to the dogs. Three years ago a good friend of ours with the darkest AKC registered Apricot Pugs started having health problems and could no longer give his dogs the love and attention they required so we bought them all, 30 of them to be exact. The majority of these Pugs are the darkest red with black mask and ears found anywhere. Bill then built the dogs there dream house, a $30,000.00 dog condo if you will. This dog condo is 50 feet from our house and is fully heated and cooled with state of the art equipment. Automatic watering systems and feeders. Inside to outside runs so they can enjoy the outside whenever they want. Bill and Lesa are quite proud of there facility and invite anyone to come and visit us.

Three weeks before a Mother dog has puppies she comes into our new house into the sunroom where she has her puppies. Here we can keep a close eye on them and enjoy lots of sleepless nights making sure that every mother dog gets the care they deserve. We recently had our first litter of French Bulldogs and just love them. The sire is an AKC Champion and has produced some real nice babies. If you are looking for a puppy with personality then you have found it. Pugs and Frenchies are comedians by day and lovers by night. If someone cant fall in love with a Pug or Frenchie face then they should get a cat.
